Humans are hard-wired for kindness—evolutionary science suggests that sympathy is our strongest instinct, sometimes even stronger than self-interest. Meanwhile, practicing random acts of kindness also provides deeply personal benefits. Studies have found that kind acts are a key to happiness, and even activate the release of dopamine–the feel-good neurotransmitter–in the brain.
Get your “helper’s high!” The 3-week Kindness Challenge is a series of 6 missions based on the idea that compassion is an action word. By committing to the conscious practice of kindness, and sharing your experiences with HiveQuest’s supportive online community, you will begin to cement the habit of kindness in your life.
