I found my true nature

Dear future Hestia steward,

First of all, welcome. Welcome to this magical place.

If you're called to this land, you will find something special… as if a secret flower has been waiting for you in a sacred garden, whispering your name this whole time.

I planted a piece of myself there; a seed that found its way into the earth to make a permanent home. The magic not only lies in the land itself and how she can hold your heart so gently, but also in the community that stewards the land. I had the pleasure of being in the first incubator, and Bee + Peter are the most incredible guides and stewards, leading you back to yourself each day. But you can also feel that, in a way, the land belongs to every being. There have been so many people and energies over the years that have visited and showed love to trees, the creek, the animals, the mountain, and the dwellings… and you feel this instantly. This is a land that is very loved.

While there are so many amazing things to share with you about what has been gained from my experience there, what I found to be the most profound was that I found my true nature. I found how I wanted to exist in this world, I found my baseline, and I found my unique relationship to the natural environment. The land is there to support you. Take advantage of all the magic - drink pure spring water from the headwaters, hear the creek rushing each night, take a morning cold plunge in the creek, swim under a natural waterfall, jump in a secluded lake all to yourself, or just explore the land on your own.

Be in communion and pay attention. Pay attention to how you feel on a land that is loved. Pay attention to how to love the land. Pay attention to the water. Pay attention to the animals. Pay attention to the elements. Pay attention to the trees. And open yourself up to what living a life AS nature feels like.

Sending you wishes that the subtle secrets of Hestia present themselves in the softest tinsel of the wind.

Love,
