GATHER In HaWaII

Welcome to Paliuli Farm Sanctuary!

Paliuli, known as the “Garden of Eden”, was a legendary paradise and the home of Princess Laieikawai (Lā'i.e.-i-ka-wai). This 10-acre sanctuary is our beloved Kona coffee farm and fertile soil for abundant year-round tropical fruits, cacao and other medicinal plant life.  On this sacred land, we honor the fertile alchemy of soil + fire. We offer restful, energizing spaces for the expansion of your dreams combined with the sweet serenity of blooming flowers and joyful bird songs.

Come and rest, nourish, dream, play and celebrate!

SACRED HOSPITALITY

As retreat lovers and global travelers, my husband and I were always drawn to staying in beautifully-designed spaces in nature. But that didn’t always guarantee we would feel peaceful, calm and well-rested in the space.

We realized that beauty and comfort are only one aspect of hospitality. Creating the right energy was even more critical.

So we partnered with land experts and healers to help us understand and attune the energy of each space aligned with our intentions. We identified the most calming, grounded energies on the land to support deep rest in our sleeping spaces. We organized our group gathering spaces in areas that could activate and inspire group expression and connection.

Our guests are often struck by how intentional and magical our spaces feel to them!

We discovered our unique magic in the world of sacred hospitality.

We offer safely intimate spaces that hold great depth and spaciousness for accelerated healing and transformation of individuals and groups.

We lovingly share our sacred sanctuary with all who:

  • Understand that while human comfort is important, maintaining a light footprint on Mother Earth is our first priority.

  • Value the importance of being brought back into nature to reconnect with their true nature

  • Have a sincere desire to be in right relationship with land and to give back energetically and physically while they are here.

  • Take care of our land and space with deep reverence and care while visiting.

  • Understand that we are not a hotel or dwelling where the relationship with the space is transactional.  We are a temple space that integrates the sacred in all aspects of life— resting, eating, connecting, playing and creating. There is no separation between heaven and earth on our land.

  • Demonstrate a clean, respectful relationship with the currency of money and abundance when partnering with us.

WITH LOVE,

GETTING AROUND

  • Our retreat sanctuary is located in a rural area 45-minutes by car from the Kona airport on the western coast of Big Island, Hawaii (the Hilo airport on the eastern coast is a two-hour drive from us)

  • Local buses and taxis are less frequent and need to be arranged ahead of your arrival

  • We recommend that you rent a car through a rental car company at the airport or book a car through Turo
