Join Natural Chef Melissa S. in the mindful practice of fermentation. During this introductory class we will enjoy a brief meditation, learn to make a simple fermented vegetable and leave with a lifelong skill for better health and wellness.

What you will need:
Vegetables of choice
ex: cauliflower (fan favorite), carrot, radish, beet, green bean, cherry tomato, etc (organic is best)
Glass jar (ideally at least quart sized)
Weight (ex: fermentation weight, small jam or 1/2 pint jar and/or large cabbage leaf)
Sharp knife and cutting board
Sea Salt (or other non iodized salt)
Filtered water
Optional: garlic, ginger, and/or red pepper flake
