Join natural chef Melissa S. in the mindful practice of fermentation. During this session we will enjoy a brief meditation, learn to make a simple fermented vegetable and leave with a lifelong skill for better health and wellness.

What you will need:
Vegetable of choice (top recommendation = organic cauliflower, OR carrot, radish, beet or green bean)
1 mason jar with lid (quart size recommended, pint will work too)
Weight (standard fermentation weight, small bowl or jar that will fit, or large cabbage leaf or chunk of core)
Sharp knife and cutting board
Salt
Optional: red pepper flake, garlic, dill, peppercorn, lemon, bay leaf, or dried spices of choice
